This one comes in from Canada – a new way to look at manual material handling issues, determining what exactly your issues are and where, plus training. The document is set up in a question and answer format, and gives a complete program, start to finish, on how to properly address manual material handling. Essentially, it will work as a flow chart type approach. You will identify areas where there are potential problems, then evaluate potential solutions and training options.
Great, new, innovative approach.

Free programs and materials from OSHA on bloodborne pathogens.
Note – although there are various regulations on who should be trained, my personal opinion is that all employees should receive basic training on the subject. If a coworker is hurt and bleeding, they will want to help. They may also come across spills of blood or bodily fluids on the job or in bathrooms. Employees should have the knowledge to protect themselves.

NIOSH put together a very extensive book of charts on injuries in the workplace, breaking it down in every way imaginable. There is data here for nearly every way of looking at workplace injuries, the makeup of the work force, etc.

The data is of 2004, but goes over previous years, decades, etc. Very useful.
